Rotary International District 3292 Nepal & Bhutan is organizing Mr. and Ms. Rotaract 2.0 as the second edition of Mr. and Ms. Rotaract. With participation of top 36 contestants, the Grand Finale of the event is being held on March 9, 2019 at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi, Kathmandu. The main sponsors of this program are Unicampus Global, R.B. Diamonds, Turkish Airlines and Success Trading Ltd. Other supporters of this program are Nepal Investment Bank Ltd., Dish Home Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu Paragliding, Mothers Arm Childcare and Kindergarten Pvt. Ltd., Red Border and Vianet.
The first phase of this event was regional auditions which were conducted on January 26, 2019 in 5 major cities of Nepal. With participation of about 200 rotaractors, 77 excelled to the next round. Through different activities, the scores were tabulated and top 36 (18 male and 18 female) were chosen for the final round of this event. These participants will now groomed in a 3 days closed camp where they will attend different trainings and workshops for leadership, personality and self-development. The chief guest for the program finale will be the District Governor of Rotary International District 3292 Nepal & Bhutan Rtn. Chintamani Bhattarai with a special performance by singer Kengal Mehar Shrestha.
The winners of this program will work as the brand ambassadors of Rotary Literacy mission and will take part in different national and international projects.” This program in an initiation by the organizing team to converge rotaractors and rotarians from all over the country in one place.
