NAWALPUR: As many as 32 persons were injured after the passenger bus they were travelling on met with an accident in a jungle area along the East-West Highway in Nawalpur on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred when the bus (Na 6 Kha 7456) en route from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi lost its control and plunged around 10 metres below from the right side of the road in Arunkhola Jungle at around 1:00 am yesterday, informed District Police Office, Kawasoti.
All the injured have been undergoing treatment at Bharatpur-based Purano Medical College with five of them being in critical condition, according to police.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
